2015 KURRI KURRI

Our 2015 JD weekend was held at the Kurri Kurri Campus of the Hunter TAFE, New South Wales (near Newcastle) on the weekend of 9-11 October.

The weekend, organised by Carmel and Alistair Wilson was held near Newcastle, which is the centre of our largest member base, making it convenient for most to attend.

A tree was donated by the TAFE at Kurri Kurri, which was planted by Alistair with assistance from John and Colin. The planting and reading of letters from parts of the world took place on the Sunday. This solemn part of the weekend is the reason why we are in attendance; the reason why Higher Ground Australia exists. We honour the music and the life of John Denver.
